who we are

AIC is an independent organization founded in 2006 by Anne Tamar-Mattis, a 2006 Equal Justice Works Fellow and a 2008 Echoing Green Fellow, after her graduation from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). Prior to law school, Anne had a career in nonprofit management mostly within the LGBT community.
